Created for an exhibit for Quilts on the Wall entitled "Black and White with a Twist".

I enjoyed making this quilt so much I have started a series of black and white quilts on children's issues. This one is on hunger and all the socioeconomic issues behind it.

It is a purposely a disturbing image that goes from flesh to skeleton with the suffering and hopelessness shown in the face.

I start my work in Photoshop where I can draw and then edit the images to suit my vision.
