I have an affinity for the colors, symbols and shapes of the Southwest. This piece depicts the underlying ethereal feel of Canyon de Chelly in abstract forms using collage layers, color and texture. My objective is to utilize non-traditional materials. I want to capture the timeless essence of the rock walls, pictographs, and an obscure vernal oasis.
