Linda was kind enough to offer her home as the site for our Sew-In. We all brought our machines, thread, projects and in some cases tables. Shoving aside couches and chairs we made room in the center to set up our work stations.
We all brought our projects from simple to complex, recycle project or new, couch quilt or future show quilt. Everyone had a good time admiring and comments on projects, fabrics and techniques. It was fun to see projects that were inspired from recent classes. Gail had the opportunity to take a Katie Pasquini-Masopust. Katie PM has you create a small painting and interpret it in fabric. I have taken this class and it opens up a whole new way of being inspired.
Has your group gotten together for a sew-in? What was your favorite part of the day?
