David and I are in transition as we decide what our goals and plans are for the future. Looks like we will be relocating to another state in about a year or so. That means lots of sorting and donating and getting rid of stuff that we no longer love or use. We are in the process of blessing other people with those things that are still useful, or purging those things that are past their life expectancy and broken.
I have been going through the house room by room and only have the studio left to decide what the keeper items are and what things will be going, one way or the other! The hardest part for me so far, were the books, both novels and reference. If you are in the Temecula area and are looking for traditional quilt making books, check out the local Salvation Army. I took a bunch over there in the last few weeks.
I hope to be able to start blogging again on a regular basis. I have always tried to keep this an art related website, staying away from the politics and topics that seem to consume so many now. I will continue in that endeavor, but I may be talking more about other types of art that I am doing. I am experimenting with watercolor again as well as some computer art. My goal is to use this work as inspiration for my future fiber art.
Stay creative and dwell on the positive. As the book title says: Happiness is a Serious Problem.
