David cut the strips of fabric and I sewed the top. We had it machine quilted by a local quilter in the Baptist fan design. I am happy to report that we still both like the quilt and I think that it doesn't look too dated and it actually looks great with one of my more 'modern' pieces that I have on display. This is the barn raising layout of the log cabin pattern.
Have you made a family quilt? Do you still have it or get to see it? Let us know, we would love to hear about it.
