I have a confession to make. I have gone over to the dark (or actually red) side. There are so many inspiring and wonderful things out there on the internet that it is not possible to google them all. As my mother used to tell me, many hands make light work. For Pinterest, this is especially true. The best part of Pinterest (besides the great pictures) is that you can always jump back to the original site through the "pin". You may find a favorite blogger or website.
Want to get inspiration for a new quilting design? Check out all the Zentangle pins. Want an idea for a new project? Check out boards on other forms of art, sculpture, or design. There is something there sure to get the creative juices flowing. Want to work in different colors for a new quilt project? Look for boards that specialize in colors. Hungry after all that creative thinking? Do a search for the main ingredient you have on hand. There is sure to be a pin to a wonderful recipe for it. Love coffee but want something a little different that your normal brew? Surf all the coffee boards.
Collect your favorites to pin to your own boards. Follow those people or boards that you find to be fascinating and inspiring. You may even become a popular repin! So dip your toe in the red pool, you will find inspiration, great How-To directions, yummy food, and probably a lot of your friends.
