David and I have been visiting all the local guilds in the area to determine which one(s) we will be joining. We have decided on our main membership guild but they all have great people and lots of reasons to join each and every one of them. David and I made the decision to join just one right now to make sure that we can fulfill any required commitments for membership. With that decision made,our paperwork filled out and ready to turn in, we are onward and upward to getting plugged into the area.
We have had the opportunity of doing several hikes in the area and are loving our new home town. We are really enjoying exploring the area and getting inspired for new works of fiber art. I have started some basic sketches to see what direction I want to explore. Some of the best part is having friends visit and being able to share our new home and area with them.
