I am inspired by the elegance of antique fountain pens. I created this piece to show the relationship to fountain pens and the lost art of the written word. We text, we email, we scan our Facebook account, but when holding a letter written by a friend, we stop, pause and linger over the words.

Hand dyed fabrics, cotton, silk, tulle, paper, fibers and beads. Machine quilted, hand beading and embroidery.
