If you didn't get a chance to see Phyllis' exhibit at the Temecula Valley Museum you only have a short time. It is coming down Monday. The lobby of the museum is an intimate space so Phyllis wasn't able to display a large amount of her work but it is a nice collection of her work. She has 11 large pieces up and a few smaller ones in the gift shop.
While waiting for some other friends to join me we were able to spend 30 minutes or so catching up on everything that we are all doing. The 2014 Hoffman challenge quilts are upstairs and the 2015 challenge is going to be installed October 10th so there will still be some interesting quilts to see as well as the permanent exhibits, exhibits about Temecula's roots and famous residents.
Stop by when you are in the area or at the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. The museum opens at 10 and has some interactive exhibits for the kids.
